The beautiful city wedding of Stefanie and Thomas took place in the middle of Antwerp, on a sunny day in August. When they first emailed me with their ideas for their wedding I was all YES YES YES. Antwerp is a place close to my heart. The Central Station where they wanted their photo session is my most favourite train station in the world. When I was little my dad used to take me and my sister to the Toneelhuis for tea. I hadn’t seen it in years, but boy was it the perfect location for a wedding reception and dinner!
When their day finally arrived and I met them for their first look I was literally blown away. They both looked absolutely dashing! So much love had gone into the details of their day. There were leather bow ties not only for the groomsmen, but also their dog Froufrou had one. They had customized chapagne bottle labels, and A Table Events made the most amazing table setting in the evening. Even though the venue was absolutely chique, their whole day felt super relaxed and laid back. There were lots of jokes, laughing (and whining) kids, champagne near the old docks and pink balloons.
